This year is for intensive spiritual formation .They grow deep into the conviction that God is their hope, treasure and security. They study in depth the Christian spirituality, liturgy and CSM constitution. The novice mistress guides the formation process and instructs the novices in interior life.

During the second year of the Novitiate, they grow into the awareness that contemplative life and active apostolic life are essential parts of our religious life. As part of their training, the novices go for regency in our convents and begin to work in the various fields of our apostolate together with professed sisters. During the last four months, the novice returns to the novitiate house for  an intense period of prayer and recollection. And she prepares herself under the guidance of their mistress for the first profession of the vows of Obedience, Chastity and Poverty.

Temporary profession

The period of Juniorate is from the time of first profession to the Final profession. Duration of this period is 3-6 years. During this period, they repeat their profession every year.

The aim is to help the temporary professed sisters to integrate personally, the formation they received in the novitiate through practical life experiences. Deepening in the religious commitment and growing in personal maturity they prepare themselves for the perpetual profession. Programmes during this period provide the sisters with spiritual and doctrinal formation and also professional studies, community experience and apostolic activities.

Before the Final profession the junior sisters spend a set period of 6 months together for the immediate preparation. Free from all external activities they devote this time to prepare for their perpetual commitment in the consecrated life.

“Those who abide in me and I in them, bear much fruit” (Jn 15:5)

God`s call and our response are to be constantly in the process of growth till the end of our lives. The aim is to remain renewed day by day in our covenantal life by being faithful in the charism of the congregation and accepting life experiences as Gods plan through constant study, exercise and formation.
